2 . Configuration

This section describes how to configure dbt for Tuva prior to mapping. You should either download the open-source version of dbt or purchase the cloud version.

Here are the main steps you need to walk through to configure dbt prior to mapping:

• Create a new dbt project for each data source
• Connect each dbt project to your data warehouse and version control system
• Set the target database and schema for each dbt project
• Import the Tuva package into each dbt project
